Day One - CairoArrival to Cairo airport, meet and assist during formalities for entry visa, customs etc. Then transfer to the hotel and heck in, the rest of the day free at leisure, overnight at the hotel in Cairo.Day Tow - CairoAfter breakfast, sightseeing in Cairo to visit Pyramids ; Cheops, Chephren and Mykerions with opportunity for Camel ride . Continue to visit the Sphinx at the valley of king Chefren,. Free time of 45 minutes at restaurant for lunch break. After lunch , going to visit papyrus institute, perfume factory and Bazaars. Later on transfer back to the hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Cairo.Day Three - CairoAfter breakfast, sightseeing in Cairo to visit the Egyptian museum with the guidance of an Egyptologist to explore the enormous collection of over 100,000 items including the treasures of Tutankhamon's tomb, mummies ranging from the 18th to the 20th dynasties .Continue to Coptic Cairo (old churches ) Hanging church, Abu Serga church, Ben Ezra Jewish |  synagogue. Later on , sightseeing to Khan El Khalili one of the largest bazaars in the Middle East for free shopping . Back to the hotel, free at leisure , overnight at the hotel in Cairo Day Four - CAIRO FAYOUMBreakfast, Early morning, check out, departure from the hotel at 6:00AM to state our desert trip heading to Fayoum oasis 110 K.M south west of Cairo. Then we start our off road trip towards Dir Abu Lifa caves . Climbing up the mountain to discover this caves dates to the 4th century, since the Roman persecution era . Then drive along Karoon lake 40 KM to the west in the sand stone plateau of mountain Atrani to visit Kasr El Sagha (well preserved temple discovered in 1801). Continue driving 20 km south to Demeh El Sebah (an old pharahonic temple and ruins dedicated to the God Sobic) .drive to El Medawara for a swim in the lake and enjoy lunch in this fascinating spot overlooking the lake and the oasis from the top of the mountain. Driving west through the sand valley to reach our camp .Dinner on camp fire and overnight.Day Five -WADI EL RAYANBreak fast, drive south west to the last peak of Karoon lake, to reach the paved road, then drive for60 km to reach the lakes of Wadi El Rayan, to start our next off road trip going to a monastery in the middle of the desert where 2 hermits are living there in caves and self sufficient . Spending the | day with them and pray in the caves , having lunch , then drive down the valley going to the natural spring, overnight camp. Day Six - FAYOUM CAIROBreakfast, drive to Wadi El Ryan for a swim in this beautiful lake and enjoy barbecue on the beach. Drive along the agriculture road through the farms in the oasis and drink some tea in of one of the farms. Drive back to Cairo, overnight at hotel in CairoDay Seven - CairoFREE AT LEISURE Or optional trip to visit Alexandria, �The Pearl of the Mediterranean� it was founded in 331 BC by Alexander the Great and has become a city of cosmopolitan charm and bohemian culture. Full day tour in the city to visit Montazah places and gardens (the former summer residence of the royal family of Egypt), continue to Citadel and city tour to see both old and new Alexandria, Free time of 45 minutes at restaurant for lunch break during the tour at Seaside restaurant. Then drive back to Cairo. Overnight at the hotel in Cairo. Day Eight - CairoBreakfast, free at leisure till afternoon, check out then transfer to Cairo airport for the final departure.HOME SWEET HOME |
